Join the 2050 Accelerator, Ireland’s national sustainability accelerator designed to drive impactful sustainability innovation across various industries.

You will have the opportunity to partner and scale with progressive companies that are leading our sustainable transition. Real world validation, faster market entry and access to resources and expertise.

How it works

Our six month programme consisting of 3 month accelerator programme and 3 months of follow on support.

Core Phase 1: Pilot Scoping | 7th - 11th Apr 2025
Refine your value proposition and scope your pilot with expert mentoring.

Core Phase 2: Pilot Design & Planning | 12th - 16th May 2025
Work closely with our partners to design and develop your pilot, conduct site visits, and create a plan to test your solution.

Core Phase 3: Pilot Agreements & Demo Day | 16th - 20th June 2025
Finalise pilot agreements and partner boardroom pitch. Pitch your solution at Demo Day to an audience of investors, potential customers and senior leaders within the partner companies.

    • Expert Insights: from engaging in 1-to-1 sessions with world-class experts leading the charge in sustainable practices.

    • Market Routes: Leverage our network to explore new channels to market for your sustainability solutions.

    • Investor Access: Connect with top VC firms keen on sustainable ventures and ready to invest in the future.

    • Testbed Experiences: Utilise Ireland's unique position as a testing ground for cutting-edge technologies in real-world scenarios.

  • Please make sure you meet the following requirements:

    • You are a complete team with a scalable, technology-based business idea.

    • Your start-up is in post seed or pre-series A.

    • You are ready to go to market (product market fit).

    • You work full-time on your start-up.

    • You are focused on driving innovation in sustainability.

  • 6 month programme, consisting of 3 month accelerator programme and 3 months of follow on support.

    Core Phase 1: 7th - 11th Apr 2025

    Core Phase 2: 12th - 16th May 2025

    Core Phase 3: 16 - 20th June 2025

  • Our accelerator is an equity free programme with travel expenses covered by us!

    Travel expenses include:

    • Travel to and from Dublin.

    • Accommodation for each of the core weeks provided for up to 2 co-founders per startup.

  • There are 3 core weeks in March, April and May 2025 where startups need to attend in person on-site at Dogpatch Labs, Dublin, Ireland.

    The intervening weeks will be held virtually with team check-in calls to ensure progress is being made on pilots.
